Medication Safety

Medication Safety is defined as ‘freedom from accidental injury or adverse events during the course of using medications’.  We encourage all patients to also do their part to improve medication safety by doing a self-check list BEFORE taking any type of medicine

  • Make sure you are NOT allergic to this medication?
  • Is it the correct medicine?
  • Is it the correct dose?
  • Is it the correct time to take the medicine?
  • Is it within the expiry date?
  • Is it stored in the dark and cool place?

If all of the above is YES, then you may proceed to take the medicine

REMEMBER to get your MEDICATION REFILL

CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR at least 1 week before you run out
