Preparation

Wash your hands before applying the eye drop. If you are applying more than 1 bottle, wait for 4-5 minutes before applying the next medication to allow the first eye drop to be absorbed.

Tilt your head back while sitting or lying down and with your index finger, gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.

Look up and then with your other hand, squeeze one drop into the pocket of your lower eyelid. Try to avoid touching the eye with the tip of the bottle. Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes to allow the eye drop to be absorbed into the eye.
