Meditation for Stress and Anxiety

Mindfulness meditation has become more popular in recent years to help people cope with stress, anxiety, insomnia and anger management.

The practice involves sitting comfortably, focusing on your breathing and then bringing your mind’s attention to the present without drifting into concerns about the past or future.

In our daily life, we often so busy doing that we have little or no time for self-reflection.  When you practice mindful meditation, you learn to become aware of all your stress or anxious feelings in the body and mind.

When you allow yourself to acknowledge your worries and emotions, meditation often helps them dissipate rather than waste energy to fight them.
